Pomegranate Sauce

Just Pomegranate® Juice

Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon pink peppercorns
  • 6 cups chicken stock
  • 2 cups R.W. Knudsen Family Just Pomegranate Juice
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • salt and pepper
Directions:
  • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Sauté onion and garlic until tender.
  • Add peppercorns, cook 3 minutes.
  • Add stock, pomegranate juice and brown sugar. Raise heat to medium high and reduce slowly to 3 cups.
  • Season to taste.
