Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups R.W. Knudsen Family® Organic Apple Juice
  • 1/2 cup uncooked white rice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup vanilla almond milk or milk
  • 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar or cane brown sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions

  • Step 1

    BRING juice, rice and salt to boil in medium saucepan over high heat. Reduce to simmer. Cover. Cook about 40 minutes or until liquid is almost absorbed.

  • Step 2

    REMOVE lid. Stir in almond milk, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until rice is tender and mixture is creamy. Serve warm or at room temperature.
