Ingredients
- 2 3/4 cups R.W. Knudsen Family® Organic Apple Juice
- 1/2 cup uncooked white rice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup vanilla almond milk or milk
- 1 tbsp. packed brown sugar or cane brown sugar
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Directions
- Step 1
BRING juice, rice and salt to boil in medium saucepan over high heat. Reduce to simmer. Cover. Cook about 40 minutes or until liquid is almost absorbed.
- Step 2
REMOVE lid. Stir in almond milk, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until rice is tender and mixture is creamy. Serve warm or at room temperature.
