Slow Cooker Cider & Spice Pork Stew

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsps. vegetable oil, divided
  • 4 tbsps. all purpose flour
  • 2 tsps. sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 lbs. pork stew meat, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 (14.4 oz.) bag frozen white pearl onions
  • 4 baby red-skinned potatoes, cubed
  • 4 medium carrots, diagonally sliced
  • 2 stalks celery, diagonally sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups R.W. Knudsen Family® Cider & Spice Juice
  • 1 1/2 tbsps. apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. ground sage
  • 1 tbsp. finely chopped parsley

Directions

  • Step 1

    COAT slower cooker with 1 tablespoon oil. Combine flour, salt, pepper and meat in resealable plastic bag. Shake to coat evenly. Heat remaining 2 tablespoons oil in large skillet. Cook pork over medium-high heat until browned, about 7 minutes. Transfer to slow-cooker.

  • Step 2

    ADD onions, potatoes, carrots, celery, juice, vinegar and sage to slow cooker. Stir.

  • Step 3

    COVER and cook on HIGH 5 to 6 hours (or LOW 8 to 9 hours) or until meat is fork-tender. Stir in parsley.
